Last Friday, Year 6 students took part in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition, one of the most significant milestones of their academic journey. During the event, students presented their group projects in the Hermitage area, showcasing the result of months of research, collaboration, and learning. Families had the opportunity to visit the exhibition, explore the projects firsthand, and discuss the students’ findings and learning process with them.
The PYP Exhibition represents the culmination of the students’ Primary Education experience and provides an opportunity to demonstrate the skills and competencies they have developed throughout the programme, particularly in communication, research, critical thinking, and collaborative work.
Following the presentations, students received their PYP diplomas in a special ceremony that symbolised the completion of their Primary Years Programme and their transition to Secondary Education. The diploma presentation was a meaningful moment for both students and their families, who were able to celebrate this important milestone together.
The event highlighted the students’ effort, commitment, and personal growth throughout their years in Primary School, bringing to a close a stage filled with learning, discovery, and shared experiences.
