Although the hike was much more demanding, attendees appreciated the reward: spectacular views and even some snow remnants. What a great memory for everyone!

On Sunday, April 14th, the last outing of the year for the Family Hiking Group of the Avantis-Pineda-Xaloc schools took place. The final outing usually tends to be the most demanding, taking advantage of the longer daylight hours and the increased accessibility of the high mountains. On this occasion, the summit of Comabona, at 2,548m in the Cadí range, was climbed.

The route began at Coll de las Bassotes, ascending through Prat Socarrat and Prat Llong until reaching Sierra Pedregosa, from there to Clot Palomar, and the final ascent to the summit. On the descent, a small variation was made to visit the emblematic Pas dels Gosolans. The total route was approximately 14km with 760m of accumulated ascent.

The Easter snowfalls have left a fairly green landscape, and the snow remnants have added a special charm to the scenery, which the youngest participants enjoyed immensely.

A total of 22 people participated in the activity, including children, parents, mothers, and teachers.
