Avantis is the home to the Early Years department of Xaloc and Pineda. It is located between the two schools next to Gran Via and close to the modern Plaza de Europa in the metropolitan area of Barcelona.
Avantis represents a new concept in the approach to Early Years education for children aged from birth to 6 years old. While the life stage 0-2 years old is privately funded, the life stages from 3 to 6 years old are covered by the financing model of the economic concert with local government.
