At Xaloc school we have a history of more than 50 years. 50 years educating, 50 years building families, 50 years giving opportunities to people from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona and beyond. Thanks to this, we have many former students who are proud to have participated in our educational project. And not only former students, but also teachers and people who, in one way or another, have been part of the school.
For many years, alumni have participated in an annual meeting that has served to share experiences and anecdotes lived inside and outside the school, but we want to revitalise this large group of people. To this end, we are presenting a series of activities, some of which are already underway, and of course, the school is open to new proposals:
● The traditional Alumni meeting held during the month of May, an informal dinner in which former students from different classes meet with teachers, former teachers and school staff in a relaxed atmosphere to recall anecdotes and catch up on the experiences of former classmates: family, work, etc.
● A special dinner to commemorate the anniversaries of the classes who celebrate 1, 5, 10, 15, 25 or 30 years since the end of their studies at the school. Participants at the dinner will be able to reminisce about "old times" in a more relaxed way.
● Cultural activities and vocational and orientation training to maintain contact between people who have been part of the school.
● A federated 11-a-side football team, promoted by former students, who wear the Xaloc badge on their shirts. This team, which is already up and running, is the first of a series of amateur teams that will be promoted by the school.
