First Literary Café meeting launches a beautiful project between school and families: they have already chosen the book for the second meeting at the library

With "Las gratitudes," Xaloc has begun the new meetings with parents around literature. An afternoon to reflect, share impressions, and learn from quality speakers

Maria, Mariona, Pau, Óscar, and Juan Antonio, among others, are some of the teachers who have participated in the new literary project of the library, open to moms and dads. The meeting, which took place on February 27, had gratitude as its central theme, that human attitude that helps us see the beauty of life. Delphine de Vigan's book is, as we can read on the Anagrama website, "a beautiful novel about gratitude, about how important it is to be able to thank those who have helped us in life."

"Written in a restrained, almost austere style, this dual-voice narrative speaks to us about memory, the past, aging, words, kindness, and gratitude towards those who were important in our lives. It is their respective gratitudes that unite the three unforgettable characters whose stories intertwine in this moving and dazzling novel." This book sparked a long conversation among mothers and teachers, which continued throughout the session and left everyone wanting more. And we have already received more than twenty messages thanking us and asking about the next edition.

At the end of the talk, the book for the next Literary Café was decided, which will be on April 2nd. Do you want to know what it is?
