IB - Continuum

Xaloc, the first state-subsidized school in Spain authorized to offer the IB Continuum

The International Baccalaureate (IB) provides a strong continuum of student-centered learning programs, covering ages 3 to 19. It is designed to develop individuals who are principled, reflective, and open-minded, capable of facing today’s challenges with optimism, responsibility, and creativity.

For over 50 years, the four IB programs have provided a coherent and rigorous educational framework, with the flexibility to adapt to the culture and context of each school community. At Xaloc, these programs allow teachers to support students in reaching their full potential, forming resilient, motivated young people with a deep sense of purpose, prepared for success in their personal and professional lives, and ready to contribute to making the world a better place.

Why choose IB at Xaloc

At Xaloc, we believe that education is the fundamental driver for making the world a better place, shaping individuals who are principled, caring, open-minded, and reflective about their environment. The IB is a constantly evolving methodology that shares this goal. All IB World Schools contribute to this common objective.

When we committed to the quality of the IB program, Xaloc was already developing a series of innovative projects that needed a unifying framework: it was thanks to the IB methodology that we were able to coordinate these activities to achieve the best outcomes for our students and staff.

At Xaloc, we are proud of this achievement, which would have been impossible without the dedication of all teaching and non-teaching staff, families, and students. This success is yours too!
