This recognition highlights our work in making culture a tool for cohesion, transformation and future through educational, artistic and social projects.

We are thrilled to share that Xaloc has received the FEmImpacte 2025 Award for Cultural Impact, a recognition of our work in making culture a tool for cohesion, transformation, and the future.

The FEmImpacte Awards, organized by the Llobregat Business Forum and AEBALL / UPMBALL, with the collaboration of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), BBVA, eTalentum, and support from the Barcelona Provincial Council, the City Council of L’Hospitalet, Factor Energia, and Hotel Porta Fira, recognize initiatives that generate a positive impact in different economic and social areas of the territory.

This edition featured six categories: economic impact, social impact, cultural impact, sustainability, public-private collaboration, and public entity impact on businesses. Alongside Xaloc, which was awarded in the Cultural Impact category, other recognized organizations included SEAT, Schneider Electric, the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, the Viladecans City Council, and es im-perfect.

For more than 60 years, and with over 1,000 students, Xaloc has been working to make culture a cornerstone of our educational project, engaging students, families, and the local community through artistic, literary, and musical activities. Our literary cafés, school choirs, exhibitions, theatre, reading clubs, intercultural workshops, and collaboration with local organizations strengthen the bond between school and city.

This award also acknowledges our commitment to a comprehensive and globally minded education. We are an international school offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, accompanying our students from 0 to 18 years old, and providing Vocational Education and Training (VET) at intermediate and advanced levels.

At Xaloc, we believe that education is much more than the transmission of knowledge: it is about building identity, fostering diversity, and creating community.
This recognition inspires us to continue working towards an education that unites culture, learning, and social commitment.

Culture, education, and future. That’s who we are.
