First Aid Workshop for Upper Primary

09/02/2026

The students of Emergency Care at Xaloc FP have conducted theoretical and practical sessions with small groups of pupils.

The 2nd-year students of the Intermediate Cycle in Emergency Care at Xaloc FP carried out a first aid workshop aimed at Upper Primary students.

To facilitate learning, the pupils were divided into different classrooms, which allowed them to work in smaller groups and receive more personalized attention. This made the sessions more dynamic and participatory.

During the workshop, basic first aid concepts were explained, with a special focus on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The activity combined theory and practice, allowing the children to apply the knowledge learned in a way adapted to their age.

This type of workshop is very important because it helps students acquire vital skills, promotes safety and prevention, and prepares them to act correctly in emergencies. In addition, it fosters responsibility and teamwork, bringing healthcare knowledge closer to everyday life.

The experience was very positive for both the primary school students, who showed interest and curiosity, and the Emergency Care students, who were able to practice their skills in a real educational setting.
