Farewell to a Great Chapter: The Academic Ceremony of Scholarship Presentation for the Barcino II Class

18/05/2025

Last Friday, May 16th, the second-year Baccalaureate students of the Barcino II Class experienced one of the most emotional moments of their school journey: the Academic Ceremony of Scholarship Presentation, symbolizing the end of one stage and the beginning of a new path.

The day began with a Thanksgiving Mass in the Xaloc oratory, in an atmosphere of reflection and gratitude, surrounded by their families and teachers. A simple yet profound moment to look back and give thanks for everything lived throughout the years.

Afterwards, the students gathered for the last time as a class at the scholarship ceremony. The space that had so often hosted sports events, theatrical performances, and educational activities was transformed, for one evening, into the stage for their official farewell as Xaloc students.

Several members of the educational community and family representatives actively took part in the scholarship presentation, making this event a shared celebration full of memories, emotions, and gratitude. There were also heartfelt speeches from students, teachers, and family members who wanted to acknowledge the work done and the bonds built over the years.

The Barcino II Class has been a large, committed, and united group that has left a deep mark both in the classrooms and in the life of the school. The ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate the path traveled with pride, and at the same time, to face the future with hope, enthusiasm, and responsibility.

With one foot still in school and the other already stepping into the future that awaits them, we remind the Barcino II Class that Xaloc will always be their home, and that the doors of the school will remain open to welcome them back whenever they wish to return.
