Visit to IESE to solve a business case

Second-year Economics students work with the case method guided by marketing professor Iñigo Gallo.

Second-year Economics students recently visited IESE Business School, where they had the opportunity to work on the resolution of a real business case using the methodology that characterizes this prestigious business school.

Before the visit, the students prepared the case during previous classes at school, analyzing the company’s situation and discussing possible strategies. This preparation allowed them to arrive at the session with a solid foundation to face the challenge.

During the session at IESE, the students solved the case guided by marketing professor Iñigo Gallo, who helped them through the analysis and decision-making process. The activity was a very enriching experience, as the students were able to apply economics and business concepts in a high-level academic environment.

The visit also allowed them to learn first-hand about IESE’s teaching methodology, based on case analysis and debate, a key tool in the training of future business professionals.
