With the 2026-27 academic year on the horizon, Xaloc’s Literary Café has already begun preparing for a new season of reading, reflection, and family gatherings. After more than three years of establishing itself as a space for dialogue and personal growth through literature, the club is ready to begin a new chapter with a few changes and the same enthusiasm as always.
The main change for the coming year is that meetings will now take place on Thursdays. This adjustment responds to the school’s organizational needs and will help ensure the continuity of an activity that has become a much-anticipated event for many families.
To help select next year’s readings, participants are invited to complete a survey available through the Literary Café WhatsApp group. Their suggestions and preferences will play an important role in creating a varied and engaging reading list that continues to encourage discussion and a love of books.
The dates for next year’s meetings have already been scheduled: September 17, October 22, November 19, January 22, February 25, March 18, April 22, May 20, and June 17. The special December gathering, which traditionally has a unique format, will be announced at a later date and will include some exciting surprises.
At Xaloc, we would like to thank all the families whose participation and support have made this project possible over the years. Thanks to you, the Literary Café has become much more than a reading club: it is a space for connection, friendship, and shared enrichment.
We look forward to continuing to read, discuss, and enjoy great books together throughout the 2026-27 academic year.
