The 1st-year Bachillerato students from the school attended the congress organized by the Fundación Lo Que De Verdad Importa last Friday.

The congress “Lo que de verdad importa”, organized by the Fundación Lo Que De Verdad Importa, brought together the 1st-year Bachillerato students from the school for a day full of values, resilience, and hope.

During the event, the students heard the testimonies of exceptional people such as Pablo Sánchez Bergasa, Princess of Girona Foundation Award winner; Annette Herfkens, a survivor of an air tragedy who found the strength to keep living; and Miriam Fernández, an actress and singer with cerebral palsy, who emphasized the importance of speaking out about bullying: “If you suffer bullying, you have to speak up; don’t do like I did, keeping it to myself.”

In addition, Diploma Programme students participated as volunteers, and some, including Francesc Vivó, Nil Venturas, and Diego Arangüena, had the honor of interviewing the speakers, asking three questions each based on audience contributions.

The day made clear that the stories that inspire us most are those that speak of courage, empathy, and truth, offering students a unique opportunity to reflect on the values that truly matter in life.
