Marcos Lasalle León Reaches the National Round of the University Chemistry Competition

The 2nd Year Baccalaureate student qualifies for the national stage after excelling in the Catalan round organized by the Societat Catalana de Química.

Marcos Lasalle León, a 2nd Year Baccalaureate student at Xaloc, has qualified for the national round of the University Chemistry Competition, one of the most demanding academic competitions in the pre-university scientific field. The final stage will take place in Alicante.

To achieve this, Marcos obtained an outstanding result in the Catalan round, organized by the Societat Catalana de Química. The competition brings together high-achieving students and assesses advanced knowledge of chemistry, as well as reasoning skills and the ability to solve complex problems.

The Catalan Chemistry Olympiad aims to foster interest in this discipline and recognize scientific talent among high school students. Qualifying for the national stage places him among the best students in Catalonia in this subject.
