Oral Hygiene Workshop for 1st Grade Students

07/05/2026

TCAI students from Xaloc FP led an educational and interactive workshop featuring games and practical activities to encourage healthy habits among young children.

This week, 1st grade students took part in an oral hygiene workshop led by students from the Healthcare Assistant Nursing Technician (TCAI) program at Xaloc FP.

The activity followed a practical, participatory, and highly dynamic approach designed to help children learn, in a fun way, about the importance of taking care of their dental health from an early age. Through games, demonstrations, and age-appropriate activities, the students learned how to maintain proper oral hygiene and prevent cavities and other oral health problems.

During the workshop, the children also practiced brushing techniques, identified healthy habits, and understood the importance of good nutrition and regular dental check-ups. Their enthusiasm and active participation were evident throughout the session.

This initiative also gave the TCAI students the opportunity to put their classroom knowledge into practice and develop communication and educational skills in a real-life environment, strengthening the connection between learning and practical experience.
