The professional Formula E driver and ambassador of the Fundació Joaquim Molins Figueras shares his sporting and personal journey with students.

First-year Baccalaureate students at Xaloc experienced a very special day with the visit of Pepe Martí, a professional Formula E driver and emerging figure in international motorsport. During the session, he delivered a motivational talk in which he shared his sporting journey, the challenges he has faced, and the importance of combining talent, discipline, and strong values.

Throughout the talk, Martí explained how he began in motorsport at a very young age and how, through perseverance and sacrifice, he managed to reach the elite level of electric racing. Beyond his achievements on the track, he emphasized the importance of handling pressure, teamwork, and learning from mistakes as key elements of both personal and professional growth.

The session forms part of his role as an ambassador of the Fundació Joaquim Molins Figueras, which promotes the “Athletes with Purpose” program—an initiative aimed at fostering commitment, resilience, and social responsibility among young people. Through his testimony, Martí encouraged students to set clear goals and work consistently to achieve them.

The foundation maintains a close relationship with Xaloc, supporting the school through the sponsorship of a workshop classroom for vocational training programs, reinforcing their shared commitment to education and the holistic development of students.

The visit was warmly received by the students, who had the opportunity to ask questions and gain first-hand insight into the reality of high-level motorsport. An inspiring experience that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on their academic and personal journeys.
