Dear families,
We would like to share with you a decision we have made regarding the future of our educational centres.
Pineda and Xaloc were founded thanks to the initiative of a group of parents who wanted to transform the social and educational fabric of the area through a comprehensive, Christian-inspired educational project. The collaboration of L’Hospitalet City Council was decisive in allowing us to establish ourselves where we are today.
60 years later, more than 20,000 alumni have passed through our classrooms. We have helped many people grow and prosper, together with families and institutions. We are who we are, and because of that, we want to continue guaranteeing our educational project.
To make this possible, and to preserve and maintain the founding identity of our school, we are launching a school refoundation plan to face a possible scenario in which the public education agreement is not renewed.
Starting next academic year, the plan foresees a series of organisational and financial measures to maintain the distinctive character of our centres and their educational model, ensuring the project’s economic viability for the 2026–27 school year and beyond. Among other measures, the educational programmes of both schools and some shared spaces will be unified, with improvements to facilities; internal management processes will be optimised to reduce costs; and there will be a single unified management team. If the agreement is not renewed, school fees will also increase progressively until the 2030–31 academic year.
We are a benchmark school, open to everyone, with a unique educational excellence project that transforms society. And we want to continue being who we are, together with all of you.
