First-year Baccalaureate students took part in the Santa Eulàlia Urban Solidarity Mile, a sporting event held on a closed urban circuit in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. This race brings together participants of all ages each year, from children to adults, divided into different categories. The Urban Mile consists of a race of approximately one mile (around 1.6 kilometers), taking place on a marked route through the streets of the Santa Eulàlia neighborhood. Its main goal is not only to promote physical activity but also to encourage solidarity values among participants. The event has a charitable purpose, as the money raised through registrations is donated to social projects and charitable organizations. In addition, the day promotes community spirit, effort, and active participation. The students’ involvement in this activity has allowed them to experience learning beyond the classroom, combining sport with social commitment while reinforcing values such as solidarity, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle.
