Sixth-grade students and their fathers recently participated in a new edition of the Father-Son Dialogue, an initiative organized in collaboration with the Francisco de Vitoria University to encourage meaningful family communication around important topics such as affection, puberty and sexuality.
The event provided a space for reflection and conversation where fathers and sons could share questions, concerns and experiences in an atmosphere of trust and respect. Through different activities and guided discussions, participants were encouraged to engage in open and sincere dialogue, helping them address the challenges and changes of this stage of life with confidence and understanding.
Beyond the topics covered, the activity highlighted the importance of dedicating quality time to the father-son relationship, fostering mutual listening and strengthening family bonds. Many families described the experience as a valuable opportunity to share meaningful conversations that are not always easy to have amid the pace of everyday life.
At Xaloc, we remain committed to promoting initiatives that support families in their educational role and contribute to the holistic development of our students, placing the person and family relationships at the heart of education.
